Anesthesiologist

Pak International Hospital (PIH) in Karachi is seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist to join their medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia, patient monitoring, and emergency management, with a commitment to patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols. This is a full-time, in-person position with duty hours from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Candidates residing near DHA Phase 1 and 2 are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary throughout procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to evaluate patient health and anesthesia risks.
- Manage emergency situations promptly and effectively during surgical interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with hospital SOPs and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure strict adherence to patient safety protocols and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:
- MCPS or FCPS qualification in Anaesthesia.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
- Relevant clinical experience in anesthesia practice.
- Demonstrated expertise in anesthesia techniques, patient monitoring, and emergency management.
- Strong focus on patient safety, pre-operative assessment, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
