The Animal Tagging Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This position is responsible for tagging and identifying livestock in accordance with project and client specifications. The role requires visiting farms and various field locations to safely handle animals and apply identification tags while maintaining accurate records for each animal tagged. The officer will also document field conditions, collect relevant data and photographic evidence, and assist insurance surveyors and assessment teams by providing clear and well-organized information. Daily duties include coordinating with field supervisors, following established tagging protocols, ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and materials, and adhering to safety, ethical, and animal welfare standards. Effective communication with team members, timely reporting, and strict compliance with company procedures and confidentiality guidelines are essential components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct livestock tagging and identification according to project requirements and client instructions.
- Visit farms and field sites to safely handle animals and apply identification tags.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of tagged animals, including data entry and photographic documentation.
- Observe and document field conditions, noting any anomalies or relevant information.
- Coordinate daily schedules and activities with field supervisors and survey teams.
- Ensure tagging equipment and materials are properly maintained and replenished as needed.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, animal welfare guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Communicate effectively with surveyors, farmers, and internal teams to support smooth operations.
- Prepare timely reports and updates in line with company policies and confidentiality requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Practical skills in livestock handling, including safe animal restraint and a basic understanding of animal behavior.
- Ability to work outdoors in various environmental conditions and travel to rural and farm locations.
- Strong record-keeping and documentation abilities, including accurate data entry and basic report writing.
- Keen observation and assessment skills to identify physical conditions and collect photographic evidence.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders respectfully and clearly.
- Basic technical proficiency in using mobile devices or tablets for data collection and familiarity with standard office software.
- Minimum education at the secondary school level. Vocational or diploma-level training in agriculture, livestock management, or related fields is advantageous.
