Ansaar Management Company (Pvt) Limited is seeking a skilled Architect Draft Designer with 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses strong architectural drafting and technical drawing skills, with the ability to prepare and modify architectural drawings and construction documents in compliance with United States building codes and standards. This role requires proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Revit to develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings. Close coordination with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines is essential to ensure comprehensive project documentation. Attention to detail and commitment to meeting project deadlines are fundamental to success in this position.
The Architect Draft Designer will interpret architectural designs, specifications, and project requirements, transforming conceptual plans into accurate and precise construction-ready drawings. Working without direct team management responsibilities, the designer will collaborate effectively with project teams to ensure drawings are accurate, consistent, and complete, supporting the delivery of high-quality architectural solutions tailored for the US market. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful architectural projects, applying technical expertise to facilitate successful construction outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify architectural drawings and construction documents in accordance with project requirements and applicable US building codes.
- Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, cross-sections, and working drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
- Interpret architectural designs, specifications, and technical details to accurately translate concepts into construction documents.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant US building standards and regulations to support safe and lawful construction.
- Coordinate and integrate architectural drafts with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other engineering disciplines to produce comprehensive project documentation.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and consistency before submission or construction use.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve design challenges and incorporate feedback into drawings.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and version control of drawings and related project files.
- Adhere to established project timelines and deliverables, ensuring punctual completion of assigned tasks.
- Stay current with advances in architectural drafting technology, software tools, and industry standards relevant to US-based projects.
- Assist in preparing construction documentation packages for permits, bids, and construction phases.
- Apply attention to detail in all work to minimize errors and reduce rework in the construction process.
