The officer does not manage a team but works independently to maintain high levels of security and report incidents promptly. The CCTV Surveillance Officer plays a critical role in emergency response by identifying suspicious behavior and escalating matters according to protocol. The officer compiles detailed incident reports and collaborates with security personnel to enhance safety measures. Proficiency in video monitoring and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly are essential. The role contributes prominently to maintaining a safe environment by proactively identifying and addressing potential security threats.
Responsibilities

Monitor live and recorded footage from CCTV cameras to detect and prevent unauthorized or suspicious activities.
Conduct timely and accurate reporting of incidents, including detailed documentation of occurrences and actions taken.
Perform risk assessments of monitored areas and recommend improvements to security protocols as necessary.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies by alerting appropriate personnel and following established procedures.
Maintain continuous surveillance and ensure all monitoring systems and equipment are operational and properly maintained.
Communicate clearly and promptly with security teams and management regarding security concerns or incidents.
Manage time efficiently to cover all assigned surveillance shifts, ensuring no lapses in monitoring.
Assist in the investigation of security breaches by preserving video evidence and providing detailed accounts of observed events.
Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements related to surveillance and data privacy.
Support security audits and inspections by providing necessary surveillance data and insights.
