Application Development Analyst

World Business Lenders (WBL) provides short-term, real estate-backed commercial loans to a wide range of small and medium-sized businesses across the United States, particularly those that face challenges securing traditional financing. The company operates primarily during standard business hours, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, with occasional additional hours as needed to meet business demands. We are seeking two Application Development Analysts who will focus on developing and maintaining features within SaaS platforms such as HubSpot, Quickbase, and Frappe. These roles require versatile developers comfortable working across both frontend and backend systems, with a strong emphasis on system integration and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain functionality within SaaS platforms including HubSpot, Quickbase, and Frappe.
- Integrate systems and automate workflows across various tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Support the development of internal applications and user-facing components.
- Enhance the reliability and efficiency of system interactions and automations.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent hands-on experience is highly valued.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an Application Developer with a strong background in web technologies and SaaS platforms.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including HTML and CSS.
- Working knowledge of Python programming.
- Experience consuming APIs and integrating them into existing systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based or SaaS platforms and their ecosystems.
- Proficient with Git and GitHub for version control.
- Ability to work with structured data formats such as JSON and API payloads.
- Experience building, modifying, and maintaining web-based applications or workflows.
- Solid understanding of application architecture and system integrations.
- Strong debugging skills across frontend, platform, and API layers.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with platforms like HubSpot, Quickbase, or similar SaaS tools.
- Ability to integrate front-end components with SaaS systems and external services.
- Knowledge of authentication methods, third-party integrations, and fundamental security concepts.
- Exposure to the Frappe Framework or comparable extensible platforms.
- Experience in environments involving multiple integrated systems such as CRM and internal tools.
- Familiarity with AJAX, jQuery, or similar lightweight frontend technologies.
- Understanding of automation or workflow tools within SaaS platforms.
- Experience collaborating with data teams or working alongside data pipelines.
