Appnatic, a dynamic and innovative mobile app company, seeks a highly skilled and creative UI/UX Designer to lead the design process for multiple live mobile applications. This role demands original thinking and creative problem solving to produce high-quality, production-ready screen designs from wireframes that captivate users on both iOS and Android platforms. The UI/UX Designer will contribute significantly to the visual identity and user experience of Appnatics diverse portfolio, including Islamic lifestyle apps, AI calorie trackers, and AI video generation applications. Expertise in advanced design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and emerging AI design technologies is essential. The position offers an opportunity to influence product aesthetics and user satisfaction while managing and mentoring a vibrant design team. The role requires at least five years of relevant experience and a proven portfolio showcasing genuine mobile app work with a focus on originality and innovation. Responsibilities
- Lead the complete UI/UX design process from initial wireframing through to final production-ready screens for multiple mobile apps on iOS and Android.
- Manage and mentor a design team of 10, fostering creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement to meet tight deadlines and project goals.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive and scalable design system in Figma, ensuring consistency across all products.
- Craft original custom vector icons and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator to enhance app interfaces with unique visual elements.
- Utilize Adobe Photoshop for creating and refining UI assets and image-based design components.
- Integrate innovative AI tools such as Midjourney or Adobe Firefly into the design process to elevate productivity and creativity.
- Collaborate closely with company leadership and the development team to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.
- Deliver clean, well-organized Figma files with layers structured for efficient developer handoff.
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback to continually improve design quality and functionality.
- Champion original design concepts that avoid generic stock icons and copied layouts, ensuring distinctive app experiences.
- Explore and apply design trends, including dark mode, glassmorphism, and culturally relevant themes such as Islamic design.
- Prioritize user-centered design principles to create intuitive and engaging mobile app interfaces.
- Balance multiple project deadlines effectively, ensuring timely and high-quality output across concurrent assignments.
- Monitor design process metrics and contribute insights to optimize workflows and team performance.
- Support the team in building a portfolio of impactful design projects that demonstrate high standards of creativity and technical skill.
