AR Manager (US-based)

The Innovative Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to join our finance team and support our U.S.-based operations. This role is based onsite at I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi, and requires working the night shift from 7 PM to 3 AM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of relevant experience and a strong background in managing AR processes within a U.S. business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the entire U.S. Accounts Receivable cycle, including billing, collections, and cash application. Monitor AR aging reports, overdue balances, and ensure collection targets are met consistently. Address and resolve any billing discrepancies, payment disputes, and customer account issues in a timely manner. Prepare detailed AR reports and track key performance indicators such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Lead and supervise the AR team, coordinating effectively with U.S.-based clients and internal departments to ensure smooth operations. Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential. Candidates must have 3 to 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, including demonstrated leadership capabilities. A solid understanding of U.S. accounting standards and AR processes is required. Experience in collections, reconciliations, and managing AR aging reports is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP is expected. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and leadership qualities are critical for success in this role.
