Assistant Manager, Finance

The Assistant Manager, Finance at ARAR Group plays a pivotal role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This position requires overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available for strategic decision-making. The role also involves managing internal controls, accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining compliance with established financial policies and procedures. This position manages a team of two individuals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve department goals and deliverables. The Assistant Manager collaborates with various departments, ensuring the financial data aligns with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, with qualifications such as CA, ACCA, ACMA, M.COM, or MBA (Finance), and at least three years of relevant experience, demonstrating expertise in financial management and team leadership.
Responsibilities

Maintain and update daily financial transactions, vouchers, and accounting records.
Review and verify payment vouchers, bills, invoices, and supporting documents before processing.
Monitor daily cash and bank transactions and maintain proper records.
Prepare and update daily cash flow, expense, and financial position reports.
Verify vendor bills, purchase invoices, advances, and outstanding payments.
Perform bank, cash, vendor, and ledger reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
Monitor project-wise expenses and operational expenditures against approved budgets.
Maintain proper financial documentation and records for internal and external audit purposes.
Coordinate with Operations, IT, Admin, Supply Chain & Procurement, and other departments for timely resolution of financial and payment-related matters.
Check daily expenditure and payment requests and ensure all payments are processed according to approved procedures.
Utilize ERP systems to streamline financial operations, improve data integrity, and enhance reporting capabilities.
Maintain and improve internal control systems to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
