At Arcana Info , we are looking for passionate & competent candidates for a position of Software Engineer Java having 2 to 3 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Highly proficient in application programming and testing
2) Understanding of Object oriented programming concepts
3) Basic understanding of databases and DB modeling
4) Demonstrable programming experience in core Java, JUnit and data structures
5) Development using latest java technologies and frameworks including J2SE, J2EE, Socket Service/nio, JDBC, Web services (Axis2 especially), Spring, XML, PL/SQL, Eclipse IDE etc...
6) Strong programming background especially in data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
7) Understanding of J2EE frameworks, Web services would be a plus
8) Test Case Writing
9) Test Automation
10) Familiarity with Apache Tomcat
11) Basic understanding of Linux systems and commands
Knowledge, Skills and Personal Characteristics:
1. Sound knowledge of SDLC
2. Good quality assurance and analytical skills
3. Team player and good interpersonal skills
5. Ability to perform under stress and aggressive deadlines
6. Self-organized with the ability to plan ahead
7. Unix and Linux environment familiarity
8. Excellent communication skills, responsiveness and ability to work under stress and quick learner
Specific Tools, Technologies or Equipment Skills:
1. Experience in Core Java development
2. Latest java technologies and frameworks including J2SE, J2EE, Socket Service/nio, JDBC, Web services (Axis2 especially), Spring, XML, PL/SQL, Eclipse IDE etc...
3. Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, Apache Web Server, Linux commands and scripting, Ant, Aspect-J, Junit
