Architect

We are seeking a skilled Architect to join our team and contribute to the design and execution of innovative building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing spatial layouts, creating detailed 2D and 3D models, and ensuring that all designs meet regulatory standards. This role involves close collaboration with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects that are both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound. The position requires hands-on involvement throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to construction supervision, ensuring quality and compliance at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning: Develop spatial layouts, concept sketches, and detailed architectural models using computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software such as Revit or AutoCAD. Translate client requirements into functional and visually appealing designs.

Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their project goals, budget limitations, site conditions, and timelines. Provide expert advice and maintain clear communication throughout the project.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all architectural designs adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations, and accessibility standards, maintaining legal and ethical standards.

Engineering Coordination: Work closely with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers to integrate all building systems seamlessly and safely within the design framework.

Construction Supervision: Monitor project progress through regular site visits, coordinate with contractors, and manage contract documentation to ensure timely and quality execution of construction activities.

Required Qualifications

- Proficiency in architectural design software including CAD and BIM tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ability to prepare and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and contract documents.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, negotiation with authorities, and project management.
- Demonstrated ability to balance creative design with practical problem-solving involving physics, mathematics, and spatial reasoning.
