Architectural Draftsman / CAD Technician

Nopex Services is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman / CAD Technician with a minimum of 2–3 years of experience to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is Pakistan-based and involves working on construction projects for clients in the United States. The successful candidate will contribute to preparing precise architectural drawings, interpreting construction plans, and supporting the design team to deliver high-quality documentation tailored to US building standards. Nopex Services specializes in architectural design, CAD drafting, BIM/Revit modeling, structural and MEP engineering support, and shop drawing services for the US and international construction markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documents.
- Develop and revise drawings based on markups, sketches, redlines, and instructions from the Senior Architect.
- Assist in preparing architectural permit drawing sets and construction documentation specifically for US projects.
- Convert PDF drawings, sketches, and existing plans into accurate CAD drawings.
- Prepare door and window schedules, reflected ceiling plans, dimension plans, and other architectural details as required.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawing standards, and applicable US building-code requirements.
- Coordinate drawings with structural and MEP disciplines to identify discrepancies and avoid conflicts.
- Incorporate client comments and complete revisions within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain organized drawing files, including sheet numbering, dimensions, annotations, layers, and title blocks.
- Support the Senior Architect in meeting project deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional architectural drafting experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of US architectural drawings and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Revit proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, and construction details accurately.
- Solid understanding of dimensions, scales, annotations, and architectural drawing conventions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions precisely.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines, manage revisions, and coordinate with team members.
- Basic to good English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on projects for US-based clients.
- Familiarity with US residential and commercial construction projects.
- Experience preparing permit drawings and construction document packages.
- Knowledge of IBC, IRC, and accessibility requirements relevant to assigned projects.
- Experience with Revit families, sheets, schedules, and basic BIM workflows.
- Ability to work from PDF markups, redlines, sketches, and existing construction drawings.
