Architectural Draftsman

We are seeking a full-time Architectural Draftsman to join our team in Islamabad, Pakistan. This on-site position operates during the morning shift and offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to architectural projects within a dynamic design consultancy environment. The ideal candidate will have up to five years of hands-on drafting experience, strong technical skills, and a solid understanding of architectural concepts and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with architects and project teams to translate design concepts into accurate, comprehensive drafts.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes and architectural terminology.
- Coordinate and integrate Structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and Firefighting drawings to produce cohesive project documentation.
- Maintain and update project files and documentation to support ongoing architectural projects.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from architects and other stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy.

Required Qualifications
- Up to five years of professional drafting experience within a design consultancy or architectural firm.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with a demonstrated ability to produce precise and detailed architectural drawings.
- Experience working directly with architects and understanding of architectural workflows.
- Strong knowledge of architectural terms, building codes, and construction standards.
- Familiarity with Structural, MEP, and Firefighting drawings and their integration into architectural plans.
- A portfolio showcasing previous architectural drafting work and project involvement is essential to demonstrate capability and experience.
