Area Manager (Operations) - PostEx

Our client, PostEx, is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Area Manager (Operations) to oversee and manage operational activities across multiple locations in Mananwala. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, leading teams effectively, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining strict adherence to company standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive operational excellence while fostering collaboration and communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor branch performance regularly to ensure compliance with operational SOPs and company standards.
- Manage workforce planning, including resource allocation and productivity optimization across multiple sites.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly, promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze operational data, and prepare detailed performance reports for senior management.
- Coordinate with senior management and cross-functional teams to align operational goals and strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication within teams to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations management.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and reporting skills, with the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor KPIs and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, operational tracking, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and locations efficiently.
