ARIBA Strategic Sourcing - Senior Consultant - L3

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Ariba solution architecture, design, and implementation, with a proven track record of delivering at least two end-to-end greenfield implementations. This role requires immediate to 30 days’ notice period and offers opportunities to work from multiple locations including Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, and New Delhi. The consultant will play a key role in driving procurement transformation and optimizing source-to-pay processes for both direct and indirect procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and solution design of SAP Ariba implementations across complex customer engagements. Collaborate closely with customers, sales, business development, project management, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality SAP Ariba solutions. Serve as the solution and design authority, ensuring alignment with business objectives, architectural principles, and industry best practices. Facilitate customer workshops and strategic discussions with senior business and technical stakeholders. Support pre-sales activities including bid responses, solution shaping, estimations, and statement of work creation. Provide strategic thought leadership in procurement transformation, SAP Ariba roadmap adoption, and intelligent spend management. Ensure seamless integration of SAP Ariba with enterprise landscapes such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party applications. Identify opportunities to extend customer engagements and contribute to business growth within the NTT DATA Business Solutions portfolio. Mentor and coach consultants and junior architects to enhance practice capabilities and knowledge sharing. Stay updated on SAP innovations, Ariba product developments, and market trends.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with significant exposure to SAP consulting and SAP Ariba solution delivery. Demonstrated expertise in SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, and Source-to-Pay processes. Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end SAP Ariba project lifecycles in complex enterprise environments. Strong architecture and solution design skills with the ability to resolve complex business and technical challenges. Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior leadership. Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with customers and internal teams. Experience supporting pre-sales, proposals, solution shaping, and business development. Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving project environments with strong leadership presence, integrity, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with SAP SRM, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA procurement and sourcing processes is highly advantageous. Familiarity with Goods Receipt, Service Entry Sheet/Service Confirmation, Invoice, and Accounts Payable processes is beneficial. Knowledge of integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP landscapes will be an added advantage. Previous experience working in consulting firms, systems integrators, or value-added reseller environments is desirable.
