- English writing skills and command over IT related topics, technology, and research
- Manage the on-time delivery of new business and defensive proposals from start to finish.
- Schedule and lead kick-off meetings, focusing on learning about the prospect/client.
- Create a proposal delivery timeline and clear expectations for sales and proposal team’s response.
- Populate proposal from boilerplate content maintained in the RFP database.
- Research prospect and customize boilerplate content to address the prospect’s industry, challenges, and culture.
- Write executive summaries and new material as needed.
- Edit proposal content provided by sales.
- Proactively participate in developing new content for use in proposals.
- Work with subject matter experts to create and update written content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) with the ability to operate standard office equipment is required.
