Artificial Intelligence (AI) Intern

We are seeking a motivated AI Engineer Intern with a strong passion for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI. The role is based in Karachi, Pakistan, within the GETLab department, and is ideal for recent graduates or current students in relevant fields looking to build practical skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python code with good programming practices.
- Apply core Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts to real projects.
- Work with Generative AI models and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Understand and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and Agentic AI frameworks.
- Utilize tools such as LangChain and LangGraph for AI workflows.
- Collaborate using Git/GitHub and integrate REST APIs effectively.
- Participate actively in team projects and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing graduation in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Solid foundation in Python programming.
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Basic understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and related APIs including OpenAI and Hugging Face.
- Experience with version control systems like Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of working with REST APIs.
- Entry-level experience ranging from 0 to 1 year is acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Projects or final year thesis focused on RAG or Generative AI are highly desirable.
- Exposure to computer vision technologies, including OpenCV.
- Practical experience with automation tools such as n8n or Zapier.
