Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Innovador Solutions is seeking a talented Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team in Karachi South District on a full-time, on-site basis. As part of our company, you will contribute to the development of OBrain 2.0, the advanced AI assistant embedded within OSquare—our comprehensive business platform integrating HR, CRM, accounts, projects, assets, forms, fees, and education management across eleven modules. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI features that enhance business operations by turning data into actionable insights and automations, with a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 70,000 to 120,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop core components of OBrain 2.0, including retrieval systems, large language model (LLM) integration, and APIs connecting AI capabilities to OSquare’s various modules.
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to enable OBrain to answer queries using each customer’s unique business data while maintaining strict data separation.
- Create natural language processing features that convert questions and commands into queries, reports, and automated actions, supporting English, Urdu, and Arabic languages.
- Develop AI agents and automation workflows that perform tasks across modules, incorporating human approval processes where necessary.
- Build document processing solutions capable of reading invoices, contracts, and applications to extract and organize key information efficiently.
- Design predictive analytics and anomaly detection models for monitoring risks such as customer churn, attendance irregularities, and project budget overruns.
- Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of AI features to ensure accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and actively participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience working with large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Claude, or Llama APIs.
- Practical knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases through professional work or significant personal projects.
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience programming in Python.
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including API development, database management, and version control using Git.
- Solid understanding of core machine learning concepts and experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within an on-site team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience developing AI agents or tool-calling functionalities.
- Background in integrating AI solutions into ERP, CRM, HRMS, or other business software platforms.
- Natural language processing expertise in Urdu or Arabic.
- Familiarity with document AI technologies or optical character recognition (OCR).
- Experience deploying applications using Docker or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- A GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing AI-related projects is highly desirable.
