The Artificial Intelligence Engineer role at FICIALI is a full-time, on-site position located in the Karachi Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI models and systems, including those utilizing neural networks, natural language processing (NLP), and pattern recognition techniques. This role requires hands-on involvement in researching and experimenting with new AI methodologies, building both prototypes and production-grade models, and integrating AI components into software products. The AI Engineer will also focus on optimizing model performance and scalability to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and experiment with emerging AI methods and technologies to drive innovation.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI models including neural networks, NLP systems, and pattern recognition algorithms.
- Build prototypes and transition them into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
- Integrate AI components seamlessly into web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Work with large datasets, implement data pipelines, and maintain data integrity.
- Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to solution architecture, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of AI-powered products.

Required Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and modern development practices.
- Proven experience with neural networks and pattern recognition techniques for building and optimizing AI and machine learning models.
- Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and relevant frameworks or libraries.
- Proficiency in AI and machine learning tools such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts, vector databases, and integrating AI services into software applications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver reliable, production-ready AI solutions.
