Our textile manufacturing and exporting company located in Karachi's SITE area is seeking to hire a skilled and motivated “Tax Officer” relevant experience, for an immediate full-time position.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly Sales Tax returns, including all annexures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Handle suppliers' Withholding Tax (WHT) deductions, including proficient PSID preparation on FBR portals.
- Filing of quarterly returns for WHT deductions and deposits, maintaining thorough records.
- Collect and reconcile audit data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with Tax Consultants and internal teams to streamline tax-related processes.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and industry changes, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Assist in resolving tax-related queries and concerns.
- Reconcile data for WHT and other external audits
- Work closely with the tax consultant to prepare timely responses to tax notices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in handling tax-related responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, specifically regardiing Sales Tax and Withholding Tax.
- Proficiency in PSID preparation on FBR portals and filing Sales tax returns with annexures.
- Experience in preparing and filing quarterly returns for WHT deductions and deposits.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage tasks and deadlines.
- Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
- Familiarity with Tally ERP (or similar bookkeeping software).
