Asia General Hospital Pvt Ltd is seeking a dedicated Medical Officer for its Emergency Department to provide urgent and effective medical care to patients in critical conditions. The ideal candidate holds an MBBS degree from a recognized institution and possesses valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. This role requires at least one year of clinical experience specifically within an Emergency Department, demonstrating strong skills in clinical assessment and emergency management. The Medical Officer must efficiently handle medical emergencies while adhering to hospital policies and clinical protocols in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Working on rotating shifts is an essential component of this position. The Medical Officer will not manage a team but will coordinate closely with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation is critical for the continuity of care and legal compliance. Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate and effective medical care to patients presenting with urgent or life-threatening conditions in the Emergency Department.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of medical emergencies to stabilize patients and determine further treatment or referral needs.
  • Coordinate patient management and treatment plans with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients attended to, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to established clinical protocols and hospital policies to maintain standardized, high-quality care and patient safety.
  • Perform timely clinical assessments and emergency interventions under pressure while managing multiple patient cases simultaneously.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the Emergency Department by participating in departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Work efficiently during rotating shifts while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in a high-stress environment.
  • Ensure proper use and inventory of emergency department medical supplies and equipment.
  • Report any adverse events or unusual occurrences promptly according to hospital guidelines.
