The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for providing environmental assessment, monitoring, compliance, consultancy, and technical support services. The role involves conducting site inspections, environmental monitoring, data analysis, report preparation, and ensuring compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, standards, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and initial environmental examinations (IEE) to evaluate potential effects of projects or activities on the environment.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations, including EPA standards and related legislation.
Manage and monitor waste, air quality, and other environmental parameters through systematic data collection and analysis.
Perform site inspections, environmental audits, and field surveys to gather data and verify adherence to environmental policies.
Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation summarizing findings, compliance status, and recommendations for environmental improvements.
Collaborate with project managers, regulatory bodies, and clients to communicate environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Coordinate laboratory activities and environmental monitoring programs to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Support environmental consultancy services and contribute to continuous improvement of environmental management systems.
Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to address environmental challenges and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Utilize MS Office tools proficiently to document findings, prepare reports, and manage project-related information efficiently.
Work independently to meet project deadlines and collaborate as a team member to achieve organizational goals.
Travel to project sites and industrial facilities regularly to conduct fieldwork, inspections, and monitoring activities.
