- Some basic knowledge of AC & DC power equipment (Power DB, CB, MC, DG, Transformer, PMU, rectifiers and batteries etc).
- Knowledge of IF, FE and GE interfaces cables and their connectors. Types, troubleshooting & remaking of connectors etc.
Job Requirements:
- BTS and DRS link’s outage analysis through onsite troubleshooting to restore them.
- Rectification of VSWR, RSSI and RSL issues with the help of telecom Rigger.
- DRS link’s online configuration through NMS & onsite through LAPTOP.
- Preventive maintenance of BTS and DRS links.
- Testing and replacement of DC power system of BTS, including batteris and rectifiers.
- Troubleshooting of faults occurring due to LAN Switches at hub sites.
- Conducting test through Site Master.
- WLL BTS and DRS link’s monitoring through U2020 and through ticketing portal.
- Checking of BTS configuration and basic level modifications at NMS.
- BTS and DRS link’s outage analysis through NMS alarms.
- DRS link’s online testing and configuration through NMS.
- Troubleshooting of faults occurring due to LAN Switches. Some basic awareness about LAN switch commands and their purpose.
