This position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling entire activities of Secured & Unsecured consumer products and also managing operations of the Regional Credit Initiative Unit (RCIU), Collection and Product & Policy Unit.  The scope of the role also includes the development and implementation of business strategy to ensure maximum booking of quality assets, meet sales & collection targets, maximize profitability, leverage business development activities, and maintain quality in overall services.

Sales & Collection Target and Profitability:

  • Devise and implement strategies to maximize sales portfolio, accelerate collection activities and maximize booking of quality assets.
  • Review and assign sales and collection targets to respective regions and ensure maximum output with high profit.
  • Review the performance of respective regions in respect of sales and collection of secured products, provide operational guidelines and ensure that sales & collection either meet or exceed beyond targets. 
  • Manage sales & collection team and continuously keep them engaged by applying sales management techniques to maximize sales & profitability of secured products.
  • Conduct performance review session with sales & collection staff, issue appreciation letters and incentive to best performers and motivate them for better outputs.  

Maximize quality booking and monitor existing portfolio of assets

  • Conduct market valuation for analyzing comparative worth of assets vis-a-vis respective secured product and also ensure maximum quality booking of the same
  • Review and analyze financial status/equity of the customers for mitigating risk rate and safeguarding bank’ interests.
  • Monitor existing portfolio of assets by reviewing payback and ensure that payments are made according to agreed schedule.

Business Development

  • Devise business development plans and ensure execution accordingly to expand market share and new sales opportunities.
  • Explore business development opportunities by offering consumer products to large corporations and arrange to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) for future business.
  • Periodically visit respective units/regions to boost business productivity & resolve of issues/queries regarding business development activities.
  • Review proposals for business development & new initiatives submitted by respective business units and take necessary decisions accordingly. 

Managing Quality in Service Management

  • Manage quality in service in all business units and ensure that the prescribed service quality standards are being adhered to without fail.
  • Manage low-cost acquisition channels and ensure that customer commitments are systematically managed.
  • Ensure that customer complaints are entertained properly at respective business units with prompt action for their resolution.

  • Strong knowledge of products and industry
  • Awareness of industry norms and values for improvement in business growth
  • Knowledge of prudential regulations
  • Ability to work on MS office suite
