Core Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, payables, and receivables administration.
- Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
- Ad-Hoc value-add analysis, as directed.
- Complete month-end and quarter-end close processes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly analyses and associated reporting requirements (e.g. bank covenant calculations).
- Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Assist with maintaining accurate forecast detail(s).
- Complete end of month close procedures.
- Manage e-filings transaction vouchers with supporting documents and approvals.
- Circulating reminders to customers for their outstanding invoices and ensure receipt of significant invoices and status of payment.
- Preparation & posting of journal entries (accrued revenue and accrued expenses) for month-end close.
- Maintain different schedules such as: prepaid expenses and deferred revenue schedule & set up in deferral module with correct GL accounts & coverage period.
- Maintain fixed assets schedule, and capitalization of asset as per company threshold criteria.
- Investigate and communicate any account discrepancies for resolution.
