The successful candidate will manage daily accounting routine work, including day book closing, post general journal entries accurately, maintain receivables and payables, handle petty cash and cash-in-hand, prepare sales and purchase invoices, generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales and purchase reports, update customer and vendor ledgers, and handle daily banking matters including cash and cheque deposits, withdrawals, and clearing.
Required skills include a good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, experience with QuickBooks or strong working knowledge of any ERP software, a basic understanding of accounting principles, and accurate data entry and reporting skills. The candidate should possess a punctual, honest, and disciplined work attitude.
