Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior/Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing various accounting transactions, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily accounting transactions using accounting software.
- Process purchase, sales, expense, and payment vouchers accurately.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations. Assist with managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and record supplier bills. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Support payroll processing and salary reconciliations.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal departments as needed.
- Carry out other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, BBA (Finance), or an equivalent field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Skills:
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is preferred.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 per month.

Work Location:
This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to work onsite.
