Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our finance team. This role involves managing various accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting transactions, preparing reconciliations, and supporting the closing processes. This position is open to fresh graduates and requires a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all financial matters. The work location for this role is on-site.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all accounting transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between company records and bank statements.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain balanced ledgers.
- Ensure timely processing of bank payments to avoid any delays or penalties.
- Compute taxes accurately and prepare tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Audit financial transactions and supporting documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain the confidentiality of financial data and conduct database backups as needed to safeguard information.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree is mandatory.
