This role involves managing and maintaining accurate factory production and accounts records on a daily basis. The candidate will assist in production costing and monitor material consumption to ensure efficient use of resources. They will be responsible for tracking raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory, as well as preparing detailed production, costing, and expense reports. The position requires verifying purchase invoices, bills, vouchers, and factory expenses to maintain financial accuracy. Additionally, the candidate will reconcile stock, production, and accounts records regularly and coordinate closely with the Production, Store, Purchase, and Accounts departments to support smooth operations. Preparing daily and monthly Excel reports and reconciliations is a key part of the role, along with supporting audits, month-end closing activities, and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily factory production and accounts records with precision.
- Assist in production costing and monitor material consumption effectively.
- Monitor and update records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
- Prepare comprehensive production, costing, and expense reports.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com), or an equivalent qualification.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in factory or production accounts, preferably within manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory, with practical knowledge of functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, IF statements, Pivot Tables, sorting, and filtering.
- Strong understanding of production costing, inventory management, material consumption, and factory expenses.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and reporting skills to handle complex data accurately.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working with ERP or accounting software is highly desirable.
- Candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing sectors such as aluminium & glass, construction materials, or other industrial companies will be given preference.
- The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 75,000.
- The role requires on-site presence at the designated work location.
