We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to the CFO to provide comprehensive support in accounts and administrative functions. This role involves preparing payment and approval documentation, maintaining up-to-date reports and trackers, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely closure of pending items. The ideal candidate will work closely with the CFO, managing schedules, communications, and financial follow-ups to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the CFO’s calendar, schedule meetings and calls, prepare minutes, and monitor action items until completion.
- Prepare payment and approval files, including vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Follow up on pending payments, receivables, and supplier or subcontractor balances in coordination with accounts and project teams.
- Prepare and update financial reports such as payments, receivables, expenses, and cash flow trackers.
- Track bank and tax-related paperwork and ensure deadlines are met.
- Communicate the CFO’s instructions to department heads and provide status updates.
- Draft emails, letters, and notes on behalf of the CFO.
- Maintain organized records of contracts, approvals, and correspondence.
- Collect necessary documents from teams for month-end closing and audit requests.
- Handle confidential financial information with the utmost discretion.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance, accounts, or as an executive assistant supporting a CFO, finance head, or general manager.
- Practical knowledge of invoices, vouchers, bank payments, reconciliations, receivables, and payables.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and report preparation; experience with Odoo or other ERP systems is advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Proactive in following up on tasks without reminders and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or business. Part-qualified ACCA, CMA, or CA credentials are a plus.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Gujranwala or relocate accordingly.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in contracting, construction, manufacturing, or steel industries will be considered an advantage.
- Competitive salary range from PKR 85,000 to 150,000 per month, negotiable based on experience.
- This is a full-time, on-site position emphasizing hands-on support rather than entry-level or remote work.
- The role is distinct from receptionist, data entry, sales, or marketing positions, focusing on high-level financial and administrative assistance.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking to contribute directly to executive management and gain exposure to diverse financial operations within a dynamic company environment.
