Air University is seeking a dedicated academic professional to join its Karachi Campus as an academic administrator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education institutions, with experience in managing academic programs and ensuring compliance with university regulations. This role involves close collaboration with faculty, students, and administrative departments to support academic excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the administrative representative for all academic programs, overseeing all academic affairs at the campus level.
- Manage transfer programs, assist in the creation of course schedules, address faculty and student issues, prepare program reviews, and participate in special projects as required.
- Ensure the dissemination and strict implementation of Air University Academic Regulations and any modifications in alignment with university policies.
- Coordinate policy revision proposals from the campus to the principal seat for approval.
- Support academic departments in faculty workload allocation and the hiring of visiting faculty members.
- Assist academic departments in launching new academic programs and facilitate accreditation and zero visits.
- Oversee all examination-related activities, including conduct, marking, compilation, declaration of results, and record maintenance.
- Efficiently manage the Quality department and prepare reports according to instructions.
- Actively support and manage research activities on campus.
- Take responsibility for all accreditation visits and related administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- MBA, MSc, or an equivalent terminal degree, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in academics, preferably within higher education institutions.
- The terminal degree must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
