Assistant Director (SRD Provincial Coordination)

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is recruiting on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA), a strategic national initiative aimed at strengthening Pakistan's agri-trade ecosystem. NAFSA focuses on enhancing regulatory oversight, facilitating trade, and modernizing food safety and trade processes. The successful candidate will join NAFSA’s foundational team and play a key role in developing systems, processes, and institutional capabilities to support the authority’s mandate.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will assist in liaison and follow-up activities with provincial departments regarding the implementation status of SRD standards and regulations. Maintaining accurate correspondence records, implementation trackers, and meeting minutes related to provincial coordination will be essential. The role also involves supporting the compilation of provincial feedback and preparing analytical notes for supervisory review.

Additionally, the candidate will assist in preparing guidance notes, circulars, and training or awareness materials for provincial stakeholders. Coordination logistics for inter-provincial and federal-provincial meetings, workshops, and consultations will also fall under their responsibilities. The candidate must be prepared to perform any other duties assigned by the reporting officer that support NAFSA’s objectives.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should hold a B.Sc. (Hons.) or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of sixteen years of education in a relevant discipline such as Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Food Science, Public Administration, or a similar field.

Experience

A minimum of four years of relevant coordination or administrative experience is required, preferably within regulatory or public sector environments. Proficiency in MS Office applications and a strong discipline in documentation are essential. The role also demands good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage routine coordination tasks efficiently.
