Assistant Ecommerce Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Assistant eCommerce Operations Manager to support the day-to-day management of our eCommerce operations and teams in Pakistan. This role will work closely with the eCommerce Operations Manager to ensure smooth coordination between departments, effective communication, and timely completion of tasks.

The ideal candidate should be a strong team player with excellent organizational and communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

• Support the eCommerce Operations Manager in managing and coordinating the eCommerce team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Pakistan team members regarding daily operational matters.
• Allocate and coordinate tasks based on priorities and team requirements.
• Monitor team productivity, attendance, task completion, and overall performance.
• Ensure team members meet deadlines, quality standards, and expected performance levels.
• Follow up on pending tasks and ensure issues are addressed promptly.
• Support team members with questions, challenges, and day-to-day operational concerns.

• Work closely with the eCommerce Operations Manager to ensure smooth communication between the Pakistan and UK teams.
• Provide regular updates on team performance, workflow, completed tasks, and outstanding issues.
• Escalate important operational problems or performance concerns to the eCommerce Operations Manager.
• Implement instructions, processes, and priorities communicated by the eCommerce Operations Manager.
• Ensure the Pakistan team understands and follows operational procedures and expectations.

• Monitor daily workflows and ensure tasks are progressing efficiently.
• Identify bottlenecks, delays, or gaps in team processes and report them to the eCommerce Operations Manager.
• Assist in improving processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure urgent tasks and operational issues are addressed quickly.
• Maintain accurate task trackers, records, and operational documentation.
• Assist with preparing daily, weekly, and monthly team performance reports.

• Support the team in handling escalated customer and order-related issues when required.
• Assist with issues such as incorrect addresses, order delays, stock shortages, and other operational problems.
• Coordinate with relevant team members to ensure customer and order issues are resolved promptly.
• Communicate important customer or order-related issues to the eCommerce Operations Manager.

• Assist with onboarding new Pakistan-based team members.
• Help ensure new employees have the required software, accounts, and system access.
• Provide basic guidance on internal systems, tools, and processes.
• Report technical issues to the appropriate person or department and follow up until they are resolved.
• Help new team members understand their responsibilities, workflows, and performance expectations.
• Assist with onboarding new Pakistan-based team members.
• Help ensure new employees have the required computer equipment, software, accounts, and system access.
• Provide basic guidance on internal systems, tools, and processes.
• Report technical issues to the appropriate person or department and follow up until they are resolved.
• Help new team members understand their responsibilities, workflows, and performance expectations.

• Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional understanding of eCommerce workflows, Shopify, marketing tools like Klaviyo, Meta Ads, and Google Ads.
• Confident communicating with the eCommerce Operations Manager and UK team when required.
• Strong team coordination and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support the Pakistan team.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to resolve day-to-day team and workflow issues.
• Ability to monitor team performance, productivity, deadlines, and task completion.
• Proficiency in productivity, communication, and task-tracking tools.
• Good technical skills, with the ability to assist with onboarding new staff, computer setups, system access, and basic technical issues.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
• Previous experience in eCommerce, operations, customer service, administration, or team management is preferred.
