We are seeking a dedicated accounting professional with a minimum of two years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the planning and execution of financial duties and projects to support the company’s financial health. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing financial risks. The position is full-time and based in Karachi, with preference given to candidates who can reliably commute or are willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

- Take responsibility for planning and executing the company’s financial duties and projects.
- Assist in preparing accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts to maintain financial stability.
- Draft official correspondence such as letters for banks or other institutions as needed.
- Support the preparation of budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and other reports required by regulatory authorities.
- Manage and mitigate risks related to the company’s financial activities.
- Estimate short- and long-term financial objectives by setting performance targets.
- Compile financial reports and oversee month-end closing processes.
- Draft procurement procedures and approve purchase orders.
- Monitor and manage financial metrics, including KPI tracking and reporting for the finance department.
- Evaluate the organization’s financial performance and assess returns on investments.
- Provide training to staff on financial processes and best practices.
- Handle taxation matters including sales tax, income tax, and withholding taxes.
- Prepare remittance documents for inward and outward transactions.
- Perform General Ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly financial closings and the preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism at all times.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
- Strong knowledge of taxation, including sales tax, income tax, and withholding taxes.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in managing General Ledger reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Ability to draft formal financial correspondence and procurement documentation.
- Familiarity with risk management in financial operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and guide team members.
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs65,000.
