Assistant Manager – Admissions

The Assistant Manager - Admissions plays a crucial role in supporting TCF secondary school students as they explore and transition into tertiary education opportunities. This position involves raising awareness about higher education pathways, providing personalized counseling, and guiding students throughout the entire application and admission process. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized professional capable of managing data, streamlining processes, and delivering hands-on support to ensure students successfully secure placements in higher education institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Awareness & Outreach:
Lead initiatives within TCF secondary schools to promote awareness of tertiary education opportunities. Collaborate with the team to design and implement campaigns, workshops, and information sessions that effectively communicate educational pathways to students.

Student Support:
Provide comprehensive guidance to students throughout the application journey, from gathering necessary documentation to final admission. Act as a mentor by offering continuous support until students are successfully placed in higher education programs.

Admissions Execution:
Manage the end-to-end application process in partnership with the admissions team. Ensure all applications are submitted accurately and on time, and conduct timely follow-ups to track progress and resolve any issues.

Data & Process Management:
Compile, monitor, and analyze student data to assist in admissions planning and decision-making. Develop and optimize processes related to awareness campaigns, counseling, and admissions workflows. Prepare reports and dashboards to evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of admissions initiatives.

Professional & Ethical Skills:
Maintain high ethical standards and integrity when interacting with students, families, and educational institutions. Demonstrate a commitment to transparency, fairness, and student-centered decision-making throughout all activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Public Administration, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or Business.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role, preferably within higher education or student admissions.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Strong skills in process design and implementation.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and stakeholders.
- Ability to execute awareness and admissions initiatives with precision and timeliness.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to address challenges during the admissions process.
