This position provides essential support to the Project Management Unit (PMU) by overseeing daily human resources, administrative, logistics, and office management activities. The role ensures that all operations align with the policies and requirements established by the Pakistan Green Energy Program (PGEP), the Government of Pakistan (GoP), and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining smooth workflows and ensuring compliance within the PMU, contributing to the overall success of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily HR functions including recruitment assistance, onboarding, and maintaining personnel records in line with PGEP, GoP, and IsDB guidelines. Assist in implementing and enforcing HR policies, procedures, and the HR & Administration Manual to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards. Manage administrative and logistical tasks to promote efficient office operations, such as coordinating meetings, arranging travel, and handling procurement processes. Support staff performance management by maintaining performance documentation, coordinating probation reviews, managing contract extensions, and addressing other personnel-related matters. Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation in accordance with project requirements. Provide general office management support to maintain a productive and well-organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in human resources, administration, or office management, preferably within project-based or donor-funded settings. Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, particularly those related to government and international development projects. Familiarity with compliance requirements of PGEP, GoP, IsDB, or similar organizations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff and stakeholders. Proficiency in office software and tools commonly used for HR and administrative functions.
