Assistant Manager – Network Operations & Infrastructure

Hul Hub Pakistan is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager for IT Infrastructure & Network to join our team based in Karachi. This is an onsite role located at Shahrah-e-Faisal. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing IT infrastructure and network systems, with proven experience in both technical and leadership capacities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including network devices and servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Administer Cisco networking equipment, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 configurations, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Oversee firewall management using Fortinet solutions, including VPN setup and network security enforcement.
- Maintain and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory services, and Microsoft 365 platforms.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Zabbix to track network health and proactively address issues.
- Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Manage Asterisk VoIP systems to ensure reliable communication infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor the IT infrastructure team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Adapt to rotational shift schedules as required to maintain continuous IT operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and network administration.
- Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies, including Layer 2/Layer 3 switching and VLAN configuration.
- Strong experience with Fortinet firewall management and VPN technologies.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with Zabbix monitoring tools, PowerShell scripting, and Asterisk VoIP systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts when necessary.
