Assistant Manager – Supply Chain, Logistics & Digital Planning

We are seeking a technology-driven Supply Chain professional who combines strong expertise in supply chain and logistics with skills in data analytics, AI-driven planning, process automation, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage daily supply chain and logistics operations while continuously improving processes through the application of technology, automation, analytics, and intelligent systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage demand planning for assigned locations by translating sales forecasts and market trends into actionable supply requirements.
- Develop and execute supply plans that consider demand, inventory levels, lead times, procurement needs, and production priorities.
- Create and refine forecasting models using techniques such as MAPE, WAPE, XGBoost, and LightGBM, leveraging AI and analytics to enhance forecast accuracy.
- Oversee logistics operations across international markets, warehouses, and distribution channels to improve planning visibility and replenishment control.
- Coordinate closely with Production and Procurement teams to ensure material availability and minimize supply disruptions.
- Identify excess inventory, slow-moving stock, and demand-supply gaps to support inventory optimization and improve working capital efficiency.
- Explore opportunities for process automation, system integration, dashboards, and digital workflows within supply chain and logistics functions.
- Collaborate with technology and IT teams to transform manual supply chain processes into data-driven, technology-enabled solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, or Procurement roles.
- Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, replenishment, procurement, and logistics operations.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with exposure to AI/ML-based forecasting tools and methodologies. Familiarity with XGBoost, LightGBM, MAPE, WAPE, or similar forecasting techniques is advantageous.
- Keen interest in technology, process automation, digital transformation, and system-driven operations.
- Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems, Supply Chain Management software, BI tools, dashboards, or automation platforms is a plus.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a monthly salary in the range of Rs 120,000 to Rs 150,000. This role requires in-person attendance at the designated work location.
