Assistant Manager – Teachers CPD

The Citizen’s Foundation is looking for an Assistant Manager English Language – Teachers CPD to enhance the professional development of school faculty and area teams. This role focuses on identifying training needs and applying pedagogical frameworks to design, develop, and review comprehensive English training materials for both online and in-person delivery. The successful candidate will conduct engaging training sessions for English teachers and trainers, utilizing AI tools and digital platforms to improve teaching effectiveness and classroom practices. They will also analyze training outcomes, observations, and feedback to prepare reports that support continuous improvement in training quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Training Needs Analysis & Planning: Identify professional development needs of teachers to set training priorities, guide training plans, define learning objectives, and develop modules aligned with departmental goals.

- Training Design & Development: Create and refine English training modules for online and face-to-face delivery, ensuring coherence between objectives, activities, and assessments. Develop presentations, facilitator guides, participant resources, assessments, and multimedia materials that promote practical classroom application. Utilize AI tools, online platforms, games, and digital resources to make training interactive and engaging. Verify the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated and external content before inclusion.

- Training Delivery & Trainer Support: Organize and conduct Training of Trainers and teacher training sessions in both formats. Prepare trainers by clarifying content, modeling facilitation techniques, and addressing queries. Observe training sessions and provide constructive feedback to improve content accuracy, facilitation skills, and participant engagement. Collaborate with trainers and teams to resolve implementation challenges and ensure consistent delivery.

- Training Quality & Review: Evaluate training modules, presentations, assessments, and support materials for language accuracy, instructional quality, clarity, and relevance to teachers’ needs. Ensure resources suit the delivery format and school context. Integrate feedback and evaluation results into updated training materials.

- Digital Data Collection & Evaluation: Develop digital tools such as surveys, assessments, observation checklists, and feedback forms to gather training data. Oversee data collection, ensuring completeness and consistency. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess learning outcomes, training effectiveness, and areas needing further support.

- Training Data Analysis & Reporting: Compile training results, feedback, and observations in coordination with team members. Analyze data to identify key findings, challenges, and improvement opportunities. Prepare detailed reports and presentations with conclusions and actionable recommendations. Share findings with management and stakeholders to inform future training strategies.

- Research & Continuous Improvement: Investigate effective English teaching methods, teacher development strategies, and facilitation techniques for both in-person and online settings. Explore AI tools and digital platforms to enhance training design and delivery. Use research and evidence to recommend improvements tailored to the organization’s context.

- Cross-functional Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with curriculum, assessment, technology, and field teams to align training with curriculum goals and classroom needs. Provide subject matter expertise for projects and reviews. Maintain organized records of training materials, data, feedback, and reports. Participate in peer learning, collaborative reviews, and professional development, sharing best practices with colleagues and trainers.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Applied Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, including classroom teaching of English, developing language learning resources, and designing and delivering teacher training in both online and on-site formats.
- Strong knowledge of English language pedagogy, adult learning principles, and learning theories.
- Proven ability to identify training needs and design, review, and refine training modules, assessments, and resources.
- Excellent facilitation skills for conducting teacher training and Training of Trainers sessions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for documentation, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms, digital content development tools, and AI applications in education.
- Strong analytical, research, and report writing skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with educators and administrators from varied backgrounds.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

A Master’s degree is preferred to deepen subject expertise. The position is based on-site, providing direct engagement with faculty and teams. Compensation ranges from Rs1.00 to Rs2.00 per month, reflecting the organization's pay scale.
