Taj Group of Petroleum Services (TGPS) is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to join its Head Office in Sukkur. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting functions, including bookkeeping, managing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, as well as bank reconciliations. This role plays a vital part in supporting financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow monitoring, and audit processes across multiple business units. The position requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate financial management and compliance with relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Perform variance analysis and prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist during internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor cash flows regularly and provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions.
- Coordinate effectively with Operations, Procurement, and Management teams to align financial activities with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas and Pivot Tables.
- Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in corporate accounting or finance roles is highly desirable.
- Candidates must be residents of Sukkur or nearby areas to facilitate smooth coordination and office presence.
