Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital (HSMH), a 312-bed facility under development in Malir, Karachi, with an anticipated opening in December 2026, is dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare services. We are currently seeking a skilled Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Housekeeping to lead and manage the hospital’s housekeeping operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the hospital, ensuring a safe, clean, and infection-controlled environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping activities across all hospital departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards in both clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Monitor the performance of housekeeping staff, manage duty rosters, and oversee attendance records.
- Ensure strict compliance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols to minimize infection risks.
- Oversee cleaning schedules, proper use of cleaning chemicals, and management of housekeeping supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to uphold quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with Nursing, Infection Control, and other relevant departments to deliver effective housekeeping services.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
- A qualification in Hospital Management or a related discipline will be considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in hospital housekeeping management is required.
- Experience working in a tertiary care hospital setting is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage teams and maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control in a healthcare environment.
