Assistant Manager DICT Post Sales Services - IT

We are seeking a skilled IT professional with extensive experience in advanced IT technologies, operating systems, and virtualization solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and troubleshooting mainstream OS platforms such as Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Microsoft, alongside virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenShift, OLVM, and Microsoft Hyper-V. This role requires hands-on expertise in compute and storage solutions, as well as the ability to provide technical support and collaborate effectively with OEM teams to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Demonstrate proficiency with advanced IT technologies and hands-on experience working with mainstream operating systems and virtualization platforms such as Red Hat, Ubuntu, Microsoft, VMware, OpenShift, OLVM, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve IT-related issues promptly, ensuring clear communication of status updates and resolutions to customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT best practices to deliver optimal solutions and safeguard company systems.
- Provide proven hands-on experience with compute and storage hardware from vendors like Dell, Huawei, HPE, IBM, and H3C.
- Coordinate and configure proof of concept engagements in collaboration with OEM partners.
- Deliver Level 1 technical support and escalate complex issues to OEM Advanced TAC teams when necessary.
- Offer both on-site and remote technical support to maintain continuous network operations.
- Possess hands-on experience with broader network technologies such as routing, switching, WLAN, and security, which will be considered an advantage.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on equipment and applications to facilitate smooth transitions and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential.
- Solid experience, preferably up to 10 years, in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of compute, storage, virtualization, and software solutions including Microsoft and Oracle environments.
- Strong understanding of multiple compute, GPU, and storage solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) infrastructure models.
- Working knowledge of network infrastructure and overall IT infrastructure components.

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications

- Professional-level OEM certifications such as CCNP Data Center or HCIP Compute are highly desirable.
- Expert-level certifications (IE) will be considered an asset.
