Assistant Manager - Digital Transformation

We are seeking a dynamic and technology-driven professional to lead our Digital Transformation initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership to identify, develop, and implement technology-enabled solutions that enhance organizational performance. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with a solid understanding of AI, automation, data analytics, ERP/SAP systems, system integration, and emerging technologies. They will be adept at translating complex business challenges into practical digital solutions and managing projects from concept through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the organization’s Digital Transformation roadmap aligned with strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities where AI, automation, and digital technologies can enhance business and manufacturing functions.
- Lead the digitalization and automation of existing processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Manage a portfolio of digital, functional, and technology projects from ideation to deployment.
- Identify and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow automation, data analytics, and intelligent process improvements.
- Work closely with IT teams, business units, developers, and external technology partners to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Drive integration efforts between SAP/ERP systems, machinery, applications, and other business platforms.
- Develop dashboards, analytics, and digital reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their applicability within the organization.
- Establish clear project KPIs, timelines, and measurable outcomes to monitor the success of digital initiatives.
- Support organizational change management and promote user adoption of new digital tools and solutions.
- Monitor project budgets, resources, risks, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure digital solutions are scalable, secure, sustainable, and aligned with the overall technology strategy.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage teams to embrace new digital technologies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in Digital Transformation, Technology, and Business Process Automation.
- Proven track record in executing and managing digital transformation projects.
- Candidates demonstrating strong potential, relevant technical expertise, and a history of delivering impactful digital initiatives are highly encouraged to apply.

Technical and Professional Skills

- Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its practical business applications.
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow automation, and process digitalization.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Familiarity with system integration, APIs, and machine-to-system connectivity.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and dashboard development.
- Exposure to Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and other emerging digital technologies.
- Strong project management and execution capabilities.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Competence in teamwork, collaboration, and change management.

Job Location: Hybrid model, combining time at the Mill and Corporate Office.
