MARIA.B. DESIGNS (PVT.) LTD, Pakistan’s largest manufacturer and retailer of women’s fashion garments, is seeking an Assistant Manager for Embroidery Production based in Lahore. Founded in 1999 by designer Maria Butt, the company has established itself as a leading fashion house with a strong presence in the US, UK, and European markets. Operating a vertically integrated production facility and one of the largest retail networks in Pakistan, MARIA.B. employs over 500 skilled professionals. The Assistant Manager Embroidery Production will play a crucial role in overseeing daily embroidery operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of designs while maintaining the brand’s high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily embroidery production activities to ensure designs are executed correctly and delivered on schedule.
- Coordinate with design, textile, and quality assurance teams to uphold brand standards throughout the production process.
- Manage production schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor workflow to meet delivery deadlines.
- Identify and resolve production issues promptly to avoid delays and maintain smooth operations.
- Enforce strict quality control procedures, including defect identification and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation for reporting and performance tracking.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the embroidery department to enhance productivity and quality.
- Lead and manage the embroidery team, including training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols in a high-volume, time-sensitive production environment.

Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of embroidery production processes, techniques, and machinery, with proven ability to supervise and optimize workflows.
- Experience in garment manufacturing or fashion production, preferably within a large-scale or vertically integrated facility.
- Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and coordination across multiple units such as design, cutting, stitching, and finishing.
- Skilled in quality control practices, including defect detection and corrective action implementation to meet brand quality standards.
- Effective leadership and team management skills, with experience in training, monitoring performance, and resolving conflicts.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities for cross-functional collaboration and accurate record-keeping.
- Ability to work on-site in Lahore and manage the demands of a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
- Diploma or degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Industry certifications are advantageous.
