We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager Finance & Accounts to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various financial functions within the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial activities. This role requires strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support organizational planning.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and updates to accounting standards, recommending best practices accordingly.
- Provide support during internal and external audits, assisting in the resolution of any audit-related issues.
- Demonstrate expertise in GST, Income Tax, and the preparation of related returns.
- Prepare and present Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and cost analyses.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
- Execute ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in finance and accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and other financial management software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, ICMA, CA, or CMA are highly desirable.
