We are looking for an Assistant Manager Finance with 4 to 6 years of experience in accounts and finance, particularly with expertise in managing online QuickBooks systems for overseas entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis, along with practical experience using ERP systems such as SAP B1, QuickBooks, or similar platforms. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential to generate reports and manage data efficiently. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate financial data, timely reporting, and compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and ensure timely and accurate accounting and financial data for reporting using SAP B1, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Integrate FOH applied rates into the ERP system for product costing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets at both entity and group levels.
- Conduct quarterly physical stock taking, assess its financial impact, and reconcile inventory records accordingly.
- Manage category-wise invoicing in line with contracts and agreements, and monitor receivables aging.
- Coordinate with the sales team and customers to follow up on accounts receivable for timely collections and perform party ledger reconciliation.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage accounts payable, considering available funds and payable aging.
- Handle bank guarantees, letters of credit (L/Cs), revolving fund (RF) facilities, and maintain banking relationships.
- Oversee various insurance policies including transit, third-party liability, all-risk, burglary, and fire insurances.
- Manage Canadian tax compliance, including submission of periodic returns for sales/service tax and income tax, along with reconciliations.
- Perform valuation and costing of imported goods, including landing costs.
- Supervise and prepare sales and purchase records, invoice preparation, and related documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) or MBA.
- Partly qualified ICMA, CA, or ACCA.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for report generation and data management.
- Hands-on experience with online QuickBooks system for overseas entities.
