Hellenic Sun Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant Finance Manager to support financial operations across its diverse entities, including Hellenic Sun Insurance Brokers (HSB), InsureMart, and Kafenio. Based in Lahore, Pakistan, this full-time role is ideal for a mid-level finance professional with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. The position offers exposure to multiple industries such as financial services, insurance brokerage, insurtech, and hospitality/retail, providing a dynamic environment to develop and apply financial management skills at the group level.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Entity Financial Operations & Bookkeeping
Manage day-to-day financial activities including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for all group entities. For HSB and InsureMart, oversee premium accounting processes by reconciling client premium receipts with underwriter debit and credit notes, tracking broker commissions, and processing insurer settlement statements. For Kafenio, audit daily point-of-sale reconciliations, verify raw material and inventory purchases, monitor store-level expense vouchers, and analyze menu and recipe margins. Additionally, reconcile inter-company accounts to ensure accurate cost allocations and resolve any discrepancies arising from cross-entity transactions.

Financial Reporting, Cost Control & Treasury
Support the preparation of monthly consolidated and entity-specific management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Monitor operational expenses against budgets, identify cost variances, and flag any margin leakages. Conduct regular reconciliations of multiple bank accounts across the group’s corporate and operating accounts. Maintain oversight of liquidity positions to facilitate timely payments to suppliers, underwriters, and statutory authorities.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance
Assist in the calculation, withholding, and timely deposit of monthly Withholding Tax (WHT) and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) sales tax on services. Ensure all financial records maintain clean audit trails and supporting documentation to facilitate annual statutory audits and compliance reviews by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and insurance regulatory bodies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably within financial services, insurance brokerage, or retail sectors.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards applicable in Pakistan.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple entities and coordinate cross-functional financial activities.
