The Assistant Manager Finance Revenue will be responsible for managing multiple revenue streams, overseeing financial transactions, and generating detailed reports to support analysis and informed decision-making. This role involves handling receivables from both students and corporate entities, managing fee structures, and maintaining accurate records within the ERP system. The position requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure timely fee recovery, effective communication regarding financial matters, and compliance with tax regulations related to student finances and other services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of student financial affairs, including fee assessment, invoicing, and timely recovery of outstanding dues.
- Manage all revenue streams, including those from corporate partnerships and ancillary operations.
- Address and resolve student inquiries related to charges and fees, providing financial guidance to facilitate account clearance.
- Execute recovery processes efficiently for outstanding dues from students and corporate clients.
- Prepare budget forecasts and generate financial reports to support organizational planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations related to student financials and other services, facilitating timely submissions.
- Lead the revenue function by managing queries and concerns effectively.
- Develop and customize financial reports tailored to specific organizational needs to enhance decision-making.
- Regularly review and update policies and procedures within the revenue management area.
- Formulate and implement pricing strategies aligned with the organization’s objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of various revenue streams to inform strategic decisions.
- Support financial audits related to the revenue function.
- Drive business improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, reducing turnaround times, and enhancing overall efficiency.
- Design and implement mechanisms to improve the dissemination of financial information to internal staff and external stakeholders, including students and corporate partners.
- Identify and apply innovative approaches to increase revenue receipts.
- Initiate and manage projects focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of revenue reporting.
- Maximize the use of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to optimize revenue management.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com), Business Administration (MBA), or equivalent.
- Professional qualifications such as CA Finalist, ACMA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in finance or a related field.
