Assistant Manager Financial Planning & Analysis

This role is designed to support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function by driving effective financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and analysis. The position also focuses on enhancing automation initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing insightful financial data and analysis to support decision-making at both operational and group levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Lead monthly closing activities and prepare management reports to provide timely insights into financial performance.
- Coordinate quarterly and annual statutory audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and support monthly performance reporting, including detailed analysis and presentations for senior management.
- Conduct comprehensive financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and benchmarking against industry performance.
- Assist in feasibility studies, valuations, and financial modeling projects as needed to support strategic initiatives.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Provide financial data and analysis to meet group-level reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial planning and reporting matters, ensuring alignment across departments.

Required Qualifications

- CA Finalist or ACCA Member with a strong academic background.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, including completion of articles with a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Solid understanding of IFRS standards and expertise in financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP for financial reporting and data management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop financial models and generate insightful reports.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
