Assistant Manager Financial Planning & Analysis

This role is designed to support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function by contributing to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and analysis. The position also involves driving automation initiatives to enhance efficiency within the FP&A processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure accurate financial data and insightful analysis are delivered to support decision-making at the group level.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial plans.
- Lead monthly closing activities and prepare management reports to provide insights into financial performance.
- Coordinate quarterly and annual statutory audits, ensuring compliance and timely completion.
- Prepare and support monthly performance reporting, including detailed analysis and presentations for stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and benchmarking against industry performance.
- Assist in feasibility studies, valuations, and financial modeling projects as required.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within the FP&A function to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide financial data and analysis to meet group-level reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and reporting matters to ensure alignment and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

- CA Finalist or ACCA Member with a strong academic background.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, with completed articleship from a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and expertise in financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP ERP system.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, financial modeling capabilities, and experience in preparing detailed financial reports.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders effectively.
