Joyland is looking for a committed Assistant Manager HSE with 2-3 years of post-articles experience in a reputable industry. The successful candidate will support the implementation and management of health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the park’s operations. This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs120,000. The position is ideal for someone passionate about maintaining a safe and compliant workplace in a dynamic amusement park environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing HSE policies, procedures, and safety management systems across all park areas. Conduct regular safety inspections of rides, attractions, food outlets, maintenance zones, and public spaces to ensure a secure environment for visitors and staff. Identify potential hazards and contribute to risk assessments related to rides, events, and daily operations. Monitor compliance with safety standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and statutory regulations. Support the reporting, investigation, and corrective actions for accidents, incidents, and near-misses. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by employees and contractors. Coordinate safety inductions and toolbox talks to promote safety awareness among staff, vendors, and contractors. Assist in emergency preparedness by organizing fire drills, evacuation exercises, and maintaining first-aid readiness. Support environmental initiatives including waste management, chemical handling, and spill control. Maintain accurate HSE records, inspection reports, training logs, and compliance documentation. Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, security, and medical teams to ensure integrated and effective safety practices.
Required Qualifications
Associate Membership in Health, Safety & Environment (AM HSE) or an equivalent recognized HSE qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is essential. A bachelor’s degree or diploma is preferred. Candidates must have 2-3 years of relevant post-articles experience in a reputable industry.
